Tavisha Khanna
Tavisha Khanna is a Year 10 student at Bangkok Patana School. She joined the Model United Nations club at Patana when she was in Year 7 as way to spend her lunchtimes. Since then she has attended 12 conferences including THAIMUN, IASAS MUN, BKKMUN and other conferences.MUN has played an important role in Tavisha’s school career. It has helped her develop her public speaking, as well as her ability to work well with students and to think on her feet. When not at MUN you can find Tavisha binge watching TV shows on Netflix, watching youtube, playing the piano or singing. During her MUN career, she has been able to make amazing friends. She has been inspired by her various past chairs that have helped her pursue and continue with her MUN journey. She is honoured to be your chair, and hopes that you will be inspired by new ideas, meet great people, and - most importantly - enjoy the conference!
Kevin You
Hello! My name is Kevin You, and I am a Year 10 student at Harrow International School Bangkok. Having been part of the MUN community since Year 8, it gives me utmost pleasure and honour to be serving as the chair of the DISEC committee in BPSMUN 2019. I have attended 7 conferences, including THAIMUN, IASAS MUN and BKKMUN. What all the conferences that I have attended have in common is that I have made meaningful friendships and connections while working together to brainstorm ways to change the world. MUN overall has given me the opportunity to broaden my perspective on world affairs.
I am extremely passionate about Fitness and basketball; other than that, I enjoy reading and playing the trumpet and piano.
With that being said, I look forward to seeing you all, and I really hope to see spicy debate and friendships made in the 23rd annual BPSMUN!
