My name is Dhruv Mittal and it gives me great pleasure to chair the SPECPOL committee at BPSMUN. My MUN journey started off in year 10 at a conference in Singapore. I still remember the nervousness I felt as I approached the podium to give my first speech as the delegate of France in ECOSOC. Today, having attended many more conferences, I can fully appreciate how MUN has made me a more confident and mature person whilst developing my passion to find solutions to global issues. I cherish the opportunity to collaborate with people that have different cultural backgrounds and work together to discuss problems that affect us and our future generations. I find it extremely rewarding to be able to pass resolutions after a long day of hard work and debate. I am excited to work with both experienced and new delegates to make this an unforgettable experience.
